Now Offering In-Office Wisdom Teeth Extractions!!!
Tooth colored fillings are fillings made of a composite resin which is offered in colors that match the tooth surface. Because composite fillings are not made of metal, we can blend and mix shades to find the perfect color to match your natural teeth.
Sedation dentistry is used to provide a relaxing and anxiety-free experience for certain patients undergoing dental treatment. It allows patients that are too afraid to go to the dentist to receive the dental care they need while avoiding the common apprehension known as dental phobia.
There are 3 different types of sedation:
1. - The lightest form of sedation is nitrous oxide (laughing gas). This produces a mild sense of relaxation. (Not offering at this time)
2. - Oral sedation is a moderate form of sedation. This form of sedation typically uses a pill taken before the dental visit to produce a moderate to deep state of relaxation. Patients remain conscious and able to respond and understand the dentist. However, patients might not remember much. As a result, time will appear to pass very quickly as patients were "asleep" during the procedure.
3. - The deepest form of sedation is IV (intravenous) sedation and general anesthesia. Patients can remain conscious and able to respond and understand the dentist but remember little or nothing about the dental procedures. For the severe phobic patient and patients with special needs, we offer general anesthesia (completely asleep) in the dental office. This form of anesthesia is provided by a licensed dentist anesthesiologist.
Dentists can treat a tooth that has chipped, cracked, or decayed with a variety of dental treatment options. A dentist may recommend a dental crown when there is extensive damage to the surface of the tooth and the tooth’s root remains intact.
A crown is a dental restoration that covers and protects a damaged tooth. It is often called a “cap” and can return structure, strength, and function to a tooth with extensive decay or damage. We offer full porcelain, metal-gold or silver, and metal fuse to porcelain crowns.
Dental bridges are used to replace missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the missing tooth. These two crowns are fused to a “dummy” tooth or teeth that replaces the missing tooth or teeth. This bridge is fixed because it is cemented in place and does not have to be removed unlike dentures or partial dentures. A bridge not only fills the gap, but it also prevents movement of remaining teeth. It can also improve chewing function, speech articulation, and provide internal structure for the face to give you a more youthful appearance.
Dental veneers are custom-designed shells of tooth-like porcelain material that, when applied over the surface of a tooth, can cover worn or chipped tooth enamel. Dental veneers fall into the category of cosmetic dentistry because they can create a brighter and whiter smile with beautifully aligned teeth.
An important step in maintaining a healthy smile is to replace missing teeth. When teeth are missing, the remaining teeth can change position by drifting into the surrounding space. A removable partial denture (RPD) fills in the space created by missing teeth and fills out your smile. Although an RPD is removable, it is a good option when fixed bridges are not possible. An RPD will help you to properly chew food, a difficult task when you are missing teeth.
Complete dentures cover your entire jaw, either the upper or lower arch. Some people call them "plates." Complete dentures rest directly on the gum that covers the bone.
Complete dentures are custom made for you. The process involves multiple appointments in which the dentist will take an impression, make some measurements to record your bite, and select the color and shape of your denture teeth.
Everybody loves a brighter white smile. There are a variety of products and procedures available to help you improve the look of yours.
Take-Home Whitening Kits
Take-home kits incorporate an easy-to-use lower-concentration whitening gel that remains on the teeth for an hour or longer (sometimes overnight). The gel is applied to the teeth using custom-made bleaching trays that resemble mouth guards fabricated in the dental office. Since they are made exclusively to fit only your teeth, the results will be more precise than other over-the-counter products.
